INTERNATIONAL GRACE MINISTRIES was founded in October 2004, in Charlotte, North Carolina by Freddie and Elizabeth Vareene. As an outreach ministry they have ministered to people from all walks of life with the love. As commanded in Matthew 25, IGM assist in tangible ways: Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick.
During their teaching of ‘Purpose Driven Life’ in Charlotte, NC with a diverse group of people from different faiths, they were encouraged to began a Worship Service. They began those services within the comfort of their home with approximately 7 people in attendance.
Freddie and Elizabeth would return to their hometown in Durham, North Carolina and offered Worship services in the home of Elizabeth's Auntie, Magnolia Key. IGM began their street ministry by reaching out to the homeless. They invited hundreds into their home each Sunday to hear the Word of God and they each received a wholesome meal. They continued in ministry through the Women & Men Fellowships, Children Ministry, Prayer Partnering, and more. They continued serving single mothers and their families, widows and seniors by providing clothing, toiletries, coats/blankets, and other much needed items. The passion of the leaders of IGM is to: "Reach the unreachable, Touch the untouchable and Love the unlovable."
Go ye therefore and make disciples . . . IGM is now serving in Kenya, Malawi & Uganda.
